To add a role you need to go to settings > roles and permissions, and then you can click on the '+' icon in the middle of the tab. To add a new role you need to fill in a name for the role, a description, and also the permissions.
Permissions
When adding a role, you need to give the role certain permissions. These permissions can be general permissions, dossier permissions or file permissions. The general permissions consist of 4 settings:
- Access to company settings: Gives permission to access the company settings of the users' company. This also ticks on the other settings besides "export data".
- Access to settings: Gives permission to change your companies’ settings within VobeSoft. This also ticks on "Can add, view, edit and delete dossiers".
- Can add, view, edit and delete dossiers: Ticks on all the permissions to add, view, edit and delete for dossiers and files.
- Export data: Gives permission to export the company data from VobeSoft.
There's also the dossier permissions, which can give permission to certain actions that the role gives to members. The actions that can be given are to be able to add, view, edit, delete. Once you tick on one of these actions, a box appears with the files to that dossier; for these files you can set separate permissions.
You can also click on a dossier or file to unfold them and set separate permissions for objects or files in said directories.
Click on a tab to unfold it and see the object permissions inside the tab.
